This morning we enjoyed the beautiful pre-winter sun, as we embarked on the Duck Park for an early start to mark National Walk Safely to School Day. Special thanks to Constable Craig Vermey and the additional adults and pets who accompanied us. It was a splendid start to the day and got everyone feeling energised and inspired for a day of Cross Country. 

The 2023 SPS Cross Country Carnival was a huge success with all students showing grit and determination. Many of whom showed resilience and participated with pride in their house colours. It was so nice to see the high fives, smiles and cheering of their peers and contenders. Staff commended several students for outstanding comradery and resilience - Carlix, Rydae, Caleb, Roland, Chelea and Flora!  Well done everyone - I am very proud of you and special thanks to Miss Walch and our staff for their help in making the day such a success and congratulations to Swan House for a close win with 123 points over Oyster House 103.  Great job, everybody!
