What's on in 3/4...
Did you know that the fencing that separates our play area from the library expansion has 6,455 right angles?
Right angles have been our spotlight in maths this week. We have been learning about identification, terminology (such as perpendicular, degrees and protractor) and drawing and measuring right angles with a high level of accuracy. Next week we will move onto other angles and their identification and measurement.
Our Science lessons have us enquiring about what type of soil a bean seed will grow best in. We are monitoring our seeds closely and making observations and predictions about what we can see.
Grade 3/4 will be spending next week with Mr Lachy Smith while I am in Canberra with Grade 5/6. I'm sure it will be a wonderful week of learning and look forward to hearing all about it when I return on Monday the 13th of November.
