Tasmania Reads Week is curated by Libraries Tasmania and runs from 17 to 23 March. In 2024, we are inviting Tasmanians to Try something new with reading – try a new genre, a new author, or a new way of reading.

Program highlights include Read it, Grow it, Pick it, Cook it, Eat it! at Harvest Launceston Farmers’ Community Market, the Hobart Farmgate Market popup library, TasWriters Celebrates Tasmania Reads in Hobart, a living library at Launceston Library and the launch of the We Love Country StoryWalk at Dru Point Park in Margate.
