In the last newsletter Grade 1/2 ’s shared our ‘tuning in’ phase of our inquiry into our big question ‘What is above us?’

Now we would like to share how we are going with the ‘finding out’ phase. Students have been very curious, asked more questions and started using some books to research their questions. We used the iPads and padlet to communicate some of our research. Our learners have also used their senses to investigate the weather and recorded their finding onto calendars. 

As researchers we think we will use the internet next to do some more finding out. We wonder if we could ask an expert next…
