Grade 3/4/5/6
Science Week 15th - 23rd August
In the 3/4/5/6 class we are busily preparing for Science Week.
We will be having a science week expo which will be recorded and shared with all families. More information available soon.
Our group are going to make bath bombs and fizzy gases. We hope to learn about the different reactions that may occur and why they happen - Summa, Ava & Lincoln.
We are going to attempt to make bombe alaska or baked icecream. We hope to learn how insulation works and why the icecream doesn't melt - Eva, Lewis & Naoimh.
We are going to try to make underwater fireworks using oil, water and food colouring. We predict it will show that different liquids are different densities and these won't mix - Lilly, Kyeasha & Xearna.
