Kinder/Prep

Numeracy Skills in Kinder/Prep

Every day in the Kinder/Prep class we become more aware of the numeracy skills we use to solve problems.  These skills are like a toolbox that we can draw from when ever we need.  When we practise using these skills they continue to grow. 

Here are some examples of the mathematical based learning experiences we have enjoyed this week!

Emmett brought some coins to class.  This sparked a morning investigation into different types of Australian coins, their names/values and what makes them unique!
