It has been wonderful to have Emmett join us this term and to have our oversea travellers return this week so that we can have the whole 456 crew together! Some of the exciting learning that we have experienced has included the culture of cyber safety. We have also been reading with a partner, practising our accuracy with our fluency. Our continued research about animal adaptations is getting really interesting as we share our knowledge of some amazing facts and advantages that we’ve discovered.

We’ve also enjoyed taking turns in bringing Lilibet to the library to hear more stories from our ‘Wonder’ chapter book. This week Lilibet came to the library with us to view some of the great items that are available from the book fair. The Grade Six students are creatively preparing some skits during our literacy time at the beach to show how we can be kinder to one another. While we’re at the beach the Grade 45 students have been writing about empowerment and how this boosts our confidence. Grade 456 are looking forward to our school cross country next week.
