4/5/6
Term 2 sure has been fantastic! 456 have learnt so many new things as well as having experienced multiple learning opportunities outside of our classroom. Some of the amazing things that we’ve done are creating 3D Animals with paper mâché for Art, participating in and performing for bkinder day, cooking using a camp oven in a fire pit to extend both our Science and Connecting to Culture learning. Then there was National Simultaneous Story Time in the Gym, Cross Country events, the Camp Quality puppet show, the Growing Up program and lots of Science experiments to help us explore Matter. Grade 6 assisted in the local community on many occasions and the 456 students ventured down to Hobart for our Parliament House and a visit to the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery excursion. To finish off the term we went to Triabunna for a Gala Day, we performed our animal adaptations presentation at Assembly and we were thrilled to attend the Hong Kong Children’s Choir at the Swansea Town Hall. Wow, sounds like we need a holiday!
