National Simultaneous Storytime was held on Wednesday 21st May and Swansea Primary School joined over 2 million Australian students reading “The Truck Cat” at the same time. This event was also our first LiFT event for the year. LiFT stands for “Learning in Families Together” and aims to engage early childhood families in literacy and numeracy activities. Keep an eye out for further LiFT events throughout 2025, where families will be invited into classes for different activities that promote literacy and numeracy.
