Prep/One

This week P/1 have been out and about investigating the plants in our new gardens. We made observations using our senses and sketched our plants. We used our sketches to compare and contrast our plants' features and discussed what plants need to survive. We enjoyed labelling our pictures using arrows and painting them with watercolours. They look great on our wall. Please feel free to come and have a look. Well done P/1.
Ella: "My plant might not need to be watered with a watering can because you can also get water from rain."
Riley: "Mine (leaf) is so long and thin, and so many."
Koko: "I'm painting my clouds grey and brown because they have lots of rain in them."
Aleighna: "Im doing beautiful flowers. All colours. Look some petal fall down."
Georgina: "All the water is getting to the roots."
Zeb: "look at my arrows, and I did some grass."
