• Learning how to structure a paragraph
• Participation in national writing competition ‘What Matters’
• Honing skills in writing persuasive texts
• Sharing and responding to non-fiction texts
• Discovering new and exciting vocabulary to enrich our language

Maths

Investigating ways numbers can be represented by making, creating, and showing understandings by and using:

• Fractions
• Decimals
• Percentages
• Negative numbers
• Number lines
• Written algorithms

Science

• Completing materials inquiry and class presentations (plastic, glass or metal)
• Completing rust investigations by examining and explaining results and presenting the data
• Commencing physical science investigations about forces, light and electrical energy.
