AWARDS TERM 2

COURAGE AWARDS

Bella N 

Bella has been demonstrating increased determination and courage in her approach to learning to read and write.  It has also been wonderful to watch Bella enjoy helping others to find courage, speak up and find help if they need it.  Well done and congratulations, Bella!

Lucas J

Lucas has demonstrated a great deal of courage in his move to Swansea Primary School. Lucas has settled in so well that it is hard to believe he has only been with the Early Years classroom for less than 10 weeks!  His approach to making friends, learning and participating in all aspects of daily school life at SPS has been outstanding and inspiring to watch.  Well done and congratulations, Lucas!

Emmett P

Emmett’s writing has shown wonderful improvements this term.  He has displayed a passion for trying his best at new words, even when it has been a challenge for him.  Emmett has created some wonderful written pieces in Term 2.

Zeb B

Zebastian has shown a deep desire to improve his writing this term.  His courageous efforts in having a go at tricky spelling words have allowed Zebastian to create magic in his sentences and paragraphs, which he readily shares with his peers.

Abby L

Abby has grown in her self-belief to the become a brave leader who is organised, fair and inclusive.  Abby is strong in her ability to focus on what matters at school and courageously participates in all activities at school.

Harry H

Harry is courageous in the way he is always willing and prepared for any challenges in the classroom.  His ‘can do’ attitude means that he can step out of his comfort zone and have a go, even when he knows it might be difficult. 

PRINCIPALS AWARD

Millie S

Mille Sparshott is to be commended for her commitment to learning and demonstrating the Department values of Courage, Aspiration, Growth and Respect as a Grade 6 leader. More recently, Millie demonstrated growth and courage in her commitment to our upcoming School Production of Disney's Moana, and I want to congratulate her on this achievement and wish her well for the many rehearsals, yet to come! Well done, Millie!
