SPS RULES - Sickness / COVID 19 WHS
According to the health professionals, it is the teachers, administation staff and Education Facility Attendants, who are most 'at risk' of contracting COVID-19 in a school setting. With this in mind, we have put in place several measures to reduce the risk at Swansea Primary School. To adhere to the Work Health and Safety (WHS) laws which require all employers to take care of the health and safety of their workers by providing and maintaining a work environment that is without risk to health and safety; and providing adequate facilities for staff to carry out their work, we ask:
1. For all students to be dropped off and collected from the fire hydrant. There will be two staff on duty, one for the bus children and the other for drop off or collection. Parents/carers will not need to enter any school buildings at this time. The school bus will be operating as usual and times will remain the same as Term 1.
2. If you need to speak to the Principal, office staff or your child's teacher, please call the office or email to make an appointment.
3. ***If your child shows any flu like symptoms, whatsoever, please do not send them to school. If they arrive at school or show any symptoms throughout the day, you will be called to collect your child immediately.
4. Lastly, we ask for your patience and support, and to unite with us as we are all in this together!
Thank you.
