Royal Garden Tea Party to celebrate the life of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II
Prep to Grade 6 Royal Garden Tea Party to celebrate the life of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
Swansea Primary School turned regal for the morning for a royal high tea, with many students wondering what happened to Mrs Hay! Mrs Hay being a royal fan and having taught all about the royal family for many years, was looking very formal as her Majesty. Melissa, also a royal fan who loves anything associated with the royal family was also dressed as Queen Elizabeth II, reporting for royal office duties.
Students and staff enjoyed getting a little fancy with many students wearing beautiful gowns, tiara's and suits.
All students received badges as a token keepsake to mark the special event and celebrate the life of HM Queen Elizabeth II.
The morning was a buzz with our Royal Servants baking and preparing a delicious morning tea along with the HM Queen Elizabeth's Lady in Waiting - Mrs Jo Raspin ensuring the food was to royal standards.
Thank you to Craigie Knowe Vineyard for loaning the school their wonderful high tea serving trays, along with Pat Greenhill for her vintage serving trolley and silver wear and to Annie Browning for her lovely drink decanter for our homemade lemonad.
Mrs Hay dusted off her beautiful selection of cups and saucers ready for the Regal Morning Tea Party which was held in the gardens of the school cottage. It was a special event to be treasured.
