Swimming Carnival and Deep-Water Testing Monday 20^th of March Grade 3-6

Bus Departing School at 8.00am Sharp and returning by Approx 4pm.

Students will need to sort own arrangements to be at school by 8am and to be collected at 4pm.

 Students in Grade 3-6 will be traveling to Oatlands Aquatic Centre on Monday the 20^th of March. The bus will depart school at 8:00am and arrive back at 4:00pm. In the morning students will be participating in the Deep-Water Testing component of the Swimming and Water Safety program. The afternoon session will be the swimming carnival. During our Swimming and Water Safety program, students worked hard on improving their swimming and water safety skills. This carnival provides an opportunity for students to enjoy both novelty and competitive events. We strongly encourage full participation on the day and have organised several novelty events to ensure that all students can participate and have fun, regardless of ability.

 Students will need to bring:

• Bathers
• Slides or thongs.
• Towel
• Plastic bag
• A packed lunch with plenty of snacks
• Water
• Clothing to wear in the water for deep water testing. Students will be notified if they are required to bring long or short sleeved pants and top.

50m Freestyle

10m Freestyle

Noodle race

Kickboard race

Treasure hunt

Relays
