What a busy fortnight for Grade 3/4!
Wow! What a busy 2 weeks it has been in our class! They say a picture paints a thousand words, so I'll keep it brief...
- We've been using a variety of units to measure many things in and outside of our classroom. What's the best unit of measurement for the diameter of a button? Or the height of a student? Or perhaps the distance from Swansea to Bicheno? Are they the same unit? How many metres are in a kilometre? These are the kinds of questions you might have heard in grade 3/4 maths this week.
- Woodwork is going well for Grade 4... our new computer shelf is well on the way to completion, so we'll update you soon!
- St John Ambulance visited us recently too. What a sad and injured bunch we were afterwards! Not really... it was a fabulous session and we learnt a lot about keeping safe and what to do to help someone in need.
- Beth and Leon led a wonderful session in the library for us to make some fabulous bookmarks. Thanks Beth and Leon!
- Our garden got a bit of a makeover today too, so watch this space for some growing updates!
- Oh, and spelling words are fun when we get to paint them outside!
There's so much happening so that wasn't as brief as I thought. We're looking forward to a fabulous rest of Term 1!
